Stranger: fair, well because fascism is a working mans ideology, it is just the opposite to Marx albeit socialistic in practice. Most Fascists were estranged Bolsheviks in the early days of the movement , in Italy primarily. Also I am Italian myself and my great grandfather fought to uphold Fascism in Italy

You: I like to promote the opposite of you. I want maximize freedom of the individual as much as I can.

Stranger: fair, I would be of the belief that everybody should work as part of the machine of the state, given that the state actually provides for the citizens. Fascism in Italy was destroyed by external forces, being war & did not economically collapse from within
You: and you don't see the problem with that?
Stranger: had World War II not happened I estimate Fascism would have lasted in Italy like it did in Spain, until the 1970s. Yes the problem is that the entire world was against us & the world order of the time was set on destroying us because we sided with Germany. The only mistake was getting involved with Germany
Stranger: Mussolini was a strong leader but he kind of cucked to the Germans due to fears they would invade us
You: Well you can't see your point of failure and say well if that didn't happen we would of been successful.
Stranger: Well you claimed Fascism didn’t work when clearly as a functioning system it did, it was destroyed by Allied invasion of our country. It didn’t collapse from within. There was no starving peasant revolution to accurately claim that Fascism didn’t work. Italy had one of the best economies in Europe until we got sucked into the war.
